David Bailey’s promising rookie season could face a setback.

He is dealing with a groin injury and did not practice on Wednesday.

Bailey finished the Jets’ 28-25 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday but felt “lingering” discomfort on Monday.

“I see [him] as seeing how the week goes,” head coach Aaron Glenn said about Bailey’s status for the Jets’ Week 8 game against the Raiders on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

Bailey, whom the Jets drafted with the No. 2-overall pick, has been a rare bright spot in another otherwise dreary season.

He’s recorded 5 ½ sacks, nine quarterback hits, three forced fumbles and seven tackles for loss across his first seven games in the NFL. He broke out with three sacks during the team’s Week 5 win over the Browns, earning him a Rookie of the Week honor.

It’s part of larger injury uncertainty on the defensive line.

T’Vondre Sweat (knee) also did not practice on Wednesday. Neither did Joseph Ossai, who missed the last two weeks with an ankle injury. Both Sweat and Ossai are considered week-to-week, Glenn said.
