Police are searching for a man who allegedly stabbed two people across two suburbs and crashed a car into a Dandenong North home on Sunday.
Police allege the man, described as being of African appearance and wearing a brown shirt and black pants, stabbed an Epping man, whom he knew, at a house on Bradman Terrace about 7.30am. The victim, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital in a stable condition with upper body injuries.
The man then travelled to Dandenong North, with police alleging he deliberately crashed a silver Honda CRV into an Exner Drive house about 10.15am, before exiting the vehicle and stabbing a woman in her 30s, whom he also knew.
He then fled the scene on foot, police say.
The woman was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition with upper body injuries.
Police believe both incidents were targeted, as the man was known to both stabbing victims.
They have asked the public not to approach the man and call Triple Zero if they see him.
Police have also appealed for anyone with video, information or dashcam footage of these incidents to contact crimestoppersvic.com.au or call 1800 333 000.
