VISAKHAPATNAM: Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, visited the Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam, from May 10 to May 12 and reviewed operational, training and administrative activities of the command. He also undertook a day at sea to review operational aspects of the Eastern Fleet. He interacted with officers and sailors, commending their professionalism and dedication towards safeguarding national maritime interests.
As part of the visit, the Chief of Naval Staff also engaged with naval personnel and defence civilians during a “Fireside Chat” at Samudrika Auditorium, fostering candid discussions and constructive exchange of ideas towards enhancing operational effectiveness, welfare and motivation.
The visit reaffirmed the Indian Navy’s steadfast focus on operational readiness, personnel welfare and greater connection with all ranks, a release from the Eastern Naval Command said.
