The Who may have hung up their six strings but Roger Daltrey isn’t calling it quits just yet.

Less than a year after the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band’s 2025 farewell tour, the 82-year-old frontman announced he will trek all over North America on his 20-concert ‘A Great Night Out Tour’ that may be his swan song.

That includes three New York shows for the “Baba O’Riley” singer. They’re scheduled to take place at:

Artpark
Lewiston, NY
Thursday, Sept. 17

The Capitol Theatre
Port Chester, NY
Tuesday, Sept. 22

The Town Hall
New York, NY
Sunday, Sept. 27

“Well, it’s one more for the road. After finishing The Who’s final tour of the US, it’s time for me as a solo artist to possibly do the same,” Daltrey said in a statement.

“After touring solo with different bands of musicians for the last 17 years, a less grueling life becomes more attractive, I’ll see. With my present lineup of nine musicians, I have this opportunity to see your beautiful country and enjoy the hospitality you have shown me over so many years. I’ll be off the backing tracks and always searching for different soundscapes to present the songs.”

Prior to this run, the Grammy nominee most recently struck out on his own in summer ’25 on the ‘Alive and Kicking…and Having Fun UK Tour.’

According to Set List FM, he typically performed 15-18 songs a night. At the final show of the outing, he performed Who favorites like “Who Are You,” “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” “Substitute,” “Squeeze Box” and, of course, the sublime “Baba O’Riley.”

Other tracks to make the cut included favorites from his solo career (“Waiting for a Friend” and “Days of Light”) along with Pete Townshend, Taj Mahal, Leo Sayer, Paul Simon and Creedence Clearwater Revival covers.

When The Who last toured, The Post reviewed their show at Newark’s Prudential Center.

“Per usual, Daltrey hit extended high notes like a champ. The man refuses to phone it in,” reviewer Matt Levy wrote.
