Taylor Swift Suprises Fans With A ‘Love Story’ Duet At Fiance, Travis’ TEU Concert Ahead Of Wedding

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are rumoured to be getting married in less than 10 days. Fans believed that the singer must be busy preparing for her big day as they enter the final stretch. Oh, but how wrong they were. Taylor, being the absolute marvel she is, decided to surprise her fans instead. The bride-to-be arrived at Travis Kelce’s Tight End University concert on June 23, 2026 (ET) and instead performed a surprise duet. 

Taylor Swift gives a surprise performance at TEU

Taylor Swift is often seen supporting Travis Kelce at his games and other events, so it was no surprise when the singer made an appearance at the Tight End University welcome dinner on Monday, June 22, 2026 (ET). However, what fans had not expected was for the I Can Do It With A Broken Heart singer to return for night 2, which was The Tight End University and Close Friend Concert, on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 (ET).

Yes! Taylor Swift came back to TEU on June 23, 2026 (ET), but that was not what left fans in stunned. The actual surprise came when, towards the end of Lainey Wilson’s set, the country star told the crowd, “I don’t think you all are ready for what’s about to happen.” And it turned out to be true, as we were not prepared for what happened next. Lainey soon welcomed the very gorgeous Taylor on stage, who was wearing a beautiful custom black dress with a silver-crafted fringe cascade. 

Taylor Swift looked like an absolute dream in the asymetrical dress as she joined Lainey Wilson for a duet, performing her 2008 hit, Love Story. While introducing the All Too Well singer, Lainey recalled seeing this “really, really special” artist perform at the age of 16, marvelled that it’s been “so cool” to see what she’s accomplished since then. She further added:

“She is just as kind as she is talented. You all, welcome to the stage my friend, Taylor Swift.”

Did Taylor Swift perform Love Story on Travis Kelce’s request?

Taylor Swift has become one of the biggest stars of her time, making history with her impeccable musical career. As Taylor took the stage, the singer was greeted with loud cheers from the audience. She joined Lainey Wilson and asked the band, “Do you wanna do Love Story?” She further quipped that the song was a “special request by a very special tight end”. However, while fans immediately thought the singer was talking about her fiancé, Travis Kelce, she soon revealed that the request was made by San Francisco 49ers star, George Kittle.

For the unversed, George co-founded TEU alongside Travis and retired player Greg Olsen in 2021. Taylor sang the first verse, while Lainey sang the second before the duo belted out the chorus together. Known for her performances, Taylor soon had everyone singing along. The singer also took the opportunity to show off her beautiful engagement ring during the song’s iconic bridge, “He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring.” The concert, which was presented by Reese’s also featured performances by Dan + Shay, Chase Rice, Hardy and others.
